Great Food. The food at Swenson's is some of the best food in the Akron area. I have been eating there once a week for well over a year now. Not only is the food delicious, but it is affordable as well. Swenson's has great atmosphere and great service.

However...in the last review someone stated that only men work as servers at Swenson's and that is not true, there are many waitresses employed at Swenson's.

The Best. Period.. Swenson's has the best cheeseburgers anywhere hands down. I don't know what they put in them to make them so good. They have been around in the Akron area for decades. It is worth the trip if you are not close.

Their burgers are served on a flaky toasted bun and are a little sweet. The cheese is melted and delicious. Toppings are fresh and good.

Since it is a drive-in, the waiters (they are all male) will literally run back and forth to take your order, get your food, etc. It's a nice touch, and all this for a good price to boot. There really is no better.
