Hudson's best salon!. Salon Hudson & Spa is the best around. I have been a client for at least 8 or 9 years and am so incredibly happy to have found a place that I can trust to keep me looking great!!! I started using the salon by accident..I stopped someone on the street and asked them where they got their hair done because the style/curl was fantastic. She said she had been using Salon Hudson & Spa for years so I thought I would give it a try. Totally hooked! Not only did I get a great style, I also had a great time getting to know everyone. I no longer look at getting a hair cut as a "chore"...I look at it as a place to go and relax and hang out with some friends. Highly recommend...I would not trust my hair to anyone else.

Buckets?. I received a gift card to Salon Hudson several years ago. Since I live on the westside, I ony used it recently as I had a gf in town. I drove 45 minutes to get to the Salon. When you arrive there is no real signage to tell you that you are at the right location. The set up is confusing and unfriendly. You walk into a building and into a stairway landing area. You then have to choose between the stairs and a unmarked door. I chose the door. When you walk in there is no reception area. It is down a corridor. After I checked in I was greeted by the nail technician. She lead me back out the door I came in and up that set of stairs (steep and narrow). It is like an office building and not a salon. Upstairs and into a room with 4 wooden chairs on homemade risers that look like they are from someone's 1976 era basement (with old as dirt chair pads). I have had a lot of pedicures in my time. Everywhere from high class NYC salons to tiny salons in no-where's-ville and I have never had this type of experience.

My gf and I looked at eachother after we saw the "pedicure" chairs. We are both used to large, relaxing, heated, massage pedicure spa tub chairs. Not wooden chairs that no one would find relaxing. Where is the pedicure tub you ask? BUCKETS! Actual buckets that the nail tech pours warm water into that she hauls up the entire flight of stairs in "car washing" type buckets from the downstairs sink! I was honestly in total shock. Not trying to act spoiled, but BUCKETS?

These buckets did not keep the water warm, they did not have jets, they did not have massage, nothing. They were just plastic tubs that you put your feet into.

Still in shock 3 months later and still in shock I paid $60 a piece for the "Bucket Bath"!!!
