A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969..
In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

Country cooking.
Cracker barrel is a chain that is definably several notches up from fast food. Rustic farmhouse setting with rocking chairs on the porch and good rib sticking food - I have never gone away hungry. It may not be romantic, but the large fireplace hearth makes your feel at home on a cold blustery day. Country favorites will definitely get your day started, and the dinners will make you feel like mom made her Sunday best for the family dinner. There is a country store in the front with neat country Knick-Knacks and the kids love the "old time toys" and candy. Good value for the portions served.

Best Breakfast.
Cracker Barrel is by far the best breakfast around. Pancakes are to die for and the sourdough french toast is a favorite. Those who don't vote for it have just never tried it. I just wish the locations were closer.
