Luchitas in Hudson...STAY AWAY. Service is slow. Our waitress was friendly, but there just weren't enough.It took about 10 minutes each time we ordered a drink. The food is very over priced for the quality. The owner (Miner) actually approached us to leave because he had people waiting. It was comical (now anyway, humiliating at the time) because we would have left earlier if service wasn't so poor. If you want First & Main I would go to Flip Side/Red Door or Hudsons. They are friendly and great food.

Horrible service! Does not treat customers well!. We went to Luchitas last night. Did not have a great or happy experience. First off we get seated the waiter gives us the menus, as he is asking do you know what you want. We ask for a few minutes. He proceeds and returns seriously 2 mins later, ok soo we ordered our drinks. When he delievers them, again he bugged asked and was not being kind about it. This was all within like 5 mins since we got there. soo, feeling rushed we ordered. I got a cheese and a beef empanada with refried beans. The first thing i noticed when it came out. it came with black beans. I instantly called him over, he tried telling me (the customer) i ordered black beans. I next started eating my empanadas and noticed wrong kind. I told him and he once again tried to say thats what i ordered. I know what i like and what i ordered and soo does my boyfriend which was with me.

A little advice to the tall man with dark hair that was working sunday night july-18th next time when you are trying to get everything cleaned up way to early to get outta there. think about your customers and how bad you can really mess things up just trying to jump ahead of yourself some.. I am very upset with my experience there, and wont be ever return and neither will anyone i know, i will be sure to spread the work around!

Overpriced. We went to Luchita's in Hudson and were very disappointed with their policy concerning the charging of extra money for tortilla shells. We purchased the fajitas for 14.99 and were given only 2 tortilla shells. This was not a sufficient quantity to complete our meal and I requested another shell from the waitress. When she brought the check I saw that I was charged for the additional shell. When I brought it to her attention I was informed the yes there indeed was a charge for the extra shell and that that was the company policy and it couldn’t be changed.

I have eaten at a good many Mexican restaurants and I have never ever been served with only 2 tortilla shells, let alone been charged when I requested more. There was no way that the food on the plate would even fit in 2 shells. The price is one of the highest prices I have ever paid for fajitas. I would have expected that as many shells as needed would have been provided in the price of the meal. At the very least I should have been told that there was an extra charge for more.

They may have made a quarter extra on my meal, but they have lost a customer in the process.

Best Mexican in Hudson or surrounding areas..... Great atmosphere, good colors and design. Love the menu, good prices & decent selections. Not just your regular Mexican place with taco's and fajita's. Go with the bartenders choice of 3 margarita's- a good way to try 'em. The Guac is to die for!!!!! We come all the way from Wadsworth- @ 30+ minutes and it is worth every second.

Tonight I returned with collegues after begging to go to Aladdins but gave in to go to Luchitas. I ordered the Tortilla soup and have to say the amount of shredded chicken was impressive, however the. Meals at Luchitas in Hudson have become more disappointing with each passing month. When they first opened, the chips were fresh and the meals well cooked. In the last two visits, my experience has been very disappointing. A month ago I visited on a Saturday right when they opened and saw an employee scooping the tortilla chips into the bowl with her bare hands--health violation? I ordered the tamales (poblano/cheese) for that day and I got a dry masa with no cheese and a hint of poblano. When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager said, ("Well we had an "off day") I love the chips and salsa, but the food is mediocre at best and I have no desire to return.
