Suit and tie ..Welcome/Hi Shirt and slacks..sit in back.
Yes i agree it is a beautiful place. I had always wondered how they went through so many new servers and bartenders but i figured that out the instant they employed me and my sister. We returned to our previous place of employment shortly after.
My boyfriend and I went in for the lobster fest. I requested a table up top as well as my sister to be our server. That was denied to us although two tables sat open and set up. Instead we was shoved clear in the back room. although we planned to spend plenty of money I was very disapointed in the seating area. Lucky for us we played Keno which payed for over half our bill.
I would,nt recomend anyone to the Green diamond, as I have never met business owners with such arrigence, rudeness, and just plain awful the way they truelly treat people not to mention the daughters and grandchildren
.Plain phonie! Both of them!
I miss the Town Crier and if David B's and the Green Dianond are considered our star places we are in trouble here. Go see Tony at the Speak Easy now theres hospitality, great service ,a good family man.
This place is incredible!. I read the reviews here and wondered how old they were--or if maybe I went to a completely different restaurant. I was first here at the end of May 2010 and couldn't have been happier with my lunch. Went back the next night with my wife for dinner and we had a great time. The giant paintings of silver bikini clad women, some with swords, some with lions, leopards, doves, giant robots...you really have to see it to believe it. If you have a sense of humor and like something a bit out of the ordinary, this is a GREAT place to try. The food we had was quite good for the price and we'd go back in a second. Sent another co-worker and he drove down from Solon. This is now his favorite place. They even have Czechvar lager. This is not a stuffy, serious place. The atmosphere was really comfortable and the waitstaff took exemplary care of us. The restaurant was also almost completely full of patrons.
Firstly the food is okay. My husband ordered a steak sandwich expecting a typical one with chopped steak, mushrooms, onions...what came out what literally a piece of steak on bread with lettuce. Very odd! The food was average..I might go back to try their breakfast.
But the environment...just wow. The theme is baseball, as per the name of the restaurant, but somehow inside their theme is english pub/grandma's house/creepy fantasy brothel. I'm not kidding, on the walls are covered with cheesy painted barely clothed ladies holding swords and tambourines, with jaguars and barely covered lady parts. Almost like a Boris Vallejo painting only 100 times worse. Do NOT take children here, you will spend most of your time covering their eyes! One of the paintings right behind our table had a shirtless man chained up and in the foreground a woman stirring a cauldron...what? I'm not lying, you can see photos of the walls on their website.
I expected a cute baseball themed sports bar with great food (recommended by the Barberton Herald...um, okay?) But walked out just baffled by what I saw, definitely not a warm dining experience!
GROSS!. We had our work party there last month - my boss said it best when he told the waitress "I wouldn't even feed this stuff to my dog!" I will NEVER go back!! This is NOT fine dining - just because you serve wine and have a fireplace - I had such high hopes ... too bad
Avoid. lazy service, bad food and bad service ! This place I WILL NEVER return ! The owner you can hear allllll the way in the back yelling at his workers. He has a very bad temper ! The bathrooms are FILTHY !!!! The carpets are gross at least when I was in !!! This owner smokes in the restuarant in which is that NOT against the LAW !!!!!!!
